The conference was organized by ACMC Legislative Council Philippines.
Mr. Viray and Ms. Rosales-Viray co-authored a paper entitled “Awareness, Knowledge and Attitude of selected communication students on the issue of media corruption in the Philippines”, while Prof. Bernarte discussed his proposal to include media literacy in the general education curriculum of various academic undergraduate courses in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
With grants from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, the three LD trustees were able to put across their advocacies in the areas of media literacy, media corruption, and ethics in journalism. (inserted photo shows the 3 trustees enjoying the sights of Iloilo City and Guimaras Islands)
