Lakandayang Artists-in-Residence Program (LAIR)

LAIR- is an international artists-in-residence program of Lakandayang Cultural Association Inc.  The program invites all interested international artists to undertake their creative works in the Philippines.  The program shall have the following short term programs: 1-Month, 2-Month and 3-Month.  All artists must submit the following: (1) Period of Residency with schedule of activities, (2) written artistic concept, (3) detailed CV, (4) Portfolio of achievements and works, and (5) PDF Copy of Passport to haringlupa@gmail.com .  Please address your applications to Mr. Joseph Reylan B. Viray, Project Director and Chairman of Lakandayang Cultural Association, Inc. 

The program shall have the following components:

(1)    Cultural Exchange with Filipino artists

(2)    Workshops

(3)    Exhibitions/Shows/Concerts

(4)    Cultural Tours

(5)    Art Talks/Lectures

(6)    Creative Exchange

(7)    Entrance to Galleries and Performances

(8)    Certificates of Completion will be awarded to the Artist upon completion of the program

(9)    Etc.

Deadlines:  LAIR does not have any specific deadlines.  It accepts applications all-year round. 

Decisions:  Selected artists shall be notified via email upon a careful examination and evaluation of all the applications. 

 Fees: 

                Registration:      US$350.00 (Effective january 2012)

                                                NB: Registration Fee may be waived on request and upon deliberation of the Board of Trustees.

                Studio Rentals: C/o Lakandayang Cultural Association, Inc.

                Exhibition Venue Rentals and Exhibition Expenses: C/o Lakandayang Cultural Association, Inc.
