PUP FILM CONVENTION IS SET
June 16, 2011The First PUP National Convention on Film, organized by the Polytechnic Univesity of the Philippines Film Center, will be held on July 5-6, 2011 at the Bulwagang Balagtas, Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resouces Center, PUP Mabini Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
The event will focus on the theme “Cultivating Film: Bringing the Art of Film Closer to the Masses”. Topnotch Filipino Film Director Maryo J. Delos Reyes will be the keynote speaker while lecturers include Irma Adlawan, Mark Meily, Roy Iglesias, and Romy Vitug. The convention is open to all film enthusiasts, film and media students, mass communication majors, professionals and art teachers.
The activity is sponsored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Lakandayang Cultural Association, Inc.
