Lakandayang Gives New Color to the 49th National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute

The Lakandayang Cult
ural Association Inc. added color to the prestigious 49th National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute held in Baguio City, December 10 to Decemebr 14, 2011. The Association was tapped by no less than Sir Reghis Romero II, Acting Supreme Commander of the Order of the Knights of Rizal to manage the program flow and productions of the Institute.
The group which was headed by LD Trustee Kriztine Viray made the event a lot more organized. The Sayaw-Awitan contest likewise was made more entertaining and was managed in a more professional manner because of the handling of the Lakandayang Cultural Assoc.
Ivan Cadiente, Mariel Albano, Camille Fortun, Gale Roxas and Lorraine Cerda served as Technical Crew. While Freshney Quitalig, Dinuel Manlogon, Hannah Tampioc, and Onad Herbon provided their services in the production management. Professional photographer James Brian Ona and Videographer Hector Calma documented the entire event. (Gale Roxas)
Lakandayang Handles DOE’s Be Bright Campaign Launching
The Lakandayang Cultural Association Inc. handled the production of the Department of Energy’s Be Bright campaign launching held in Taguig City, Philippines. The group headed by the program Director Kriztine R. Viray was able make the event fluid and organized.
Hon. Jose Almendras, DOE Secretary, was amazed by Teatro Komunikado’s production number entitled “I need a Hero” where Ace Montebon- a member of the theatre group donning a superhero costume (Super DOE/Captain Energy)- danced and leaped around the stage accompanied by a song of the same title.
Around 200 guests and representatives from Shell, Petron, Chevron, PNOC and other companies in the oil and energy industries graced the event. (Gale Roxas)
